Every day, an enormous amount of leftover food from restaurants across the world is discarded, resulting in a substantial quantity of decomposing food waste.
At the same time, in Azerbaijan, there is an ongoing issue of stray dogs and cats starving, and very little attention is given to this problem. Although there are a few animal shelters, they struggle to accept all the strays and constantly grapple with financial assistance.
Occasionally, specialized dog food is donated or purchased, but it is often insufficient for everyone.
So, why not combine the leftover edible food waste with the shortage of provisions for homeless animals? This would not only save restaurants from additional disposal problems but also provide shelters with a source of pet food!
